Adventures in Austria & Germany

We just returned from two weeks abroad connecting with my husband's Austrian family over the Easter holiday.

  

It's funny - I lived in Salzburg, Austria with him for two whole years after we married - and every time I go back it's like the first time. I simply can't wrap my head around the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the artiness of it all. The tradition - the beauty.

  

Austrian culture has crept into my work for over a decade as an artist - and many of my future children's book projects (some which will be released later this year!) are directly inspired by the land and the traditions.
